Schatz Cafe in Lubeck

That there is that in Lübeck <3 <3 <3 We were in the café for the first time today and are already planning our next visits. If you are looking for mainstream, canteen atmosphere and sterile equipment, you should not come here. But if you are looking for a cozy atmosphere, pleasant guests, individual furnishings and a fantastic breakfast, you should visit the treasure in Lübeck. A great little insider tip. The cake is sensational and the coffee is good too. The people there are really nice. The atmosphere in the cafe is great. Something like a flea market. You have to like the outside area. Everything a little ... well.

Visited the Schatzcafè today because of the good reviews after work. The interior, especially the interior, is great, if you like art and clutter, this is the right place. The cake was delicious and so was the cappuccino. I had a table outside, the table top was made of boards of different heights with a tablecloth over it. When I poured my Bionade and put the half-full bottle back on the uneven table top, the bottle fell over and a nice puddle formed on the table. The waiter stood by, unmoved. During my entire stay, that wasn't wiped away. There weren't so many visitors that there wasn't time for them. One can only shake one's head at such an attitude to work.

Friendly staff, excellent quality at breakfast, the best homemade cakes (and the pies !!!) and great atmosphere - always worth a visit.

The best breakfast in Lübeck and the room is something special

Absolute find in Lübeck - delicious cake and good coffee, but the special atmosphere is the highlight: The café is located in an inner courtyard, right next to / almost in a kind of vintage furniture collection. Tip: Only pay in cash and don't worry if you stand in front of closed doors - it happened to me a couple of times, the city center is not far.

Simply wonderful?

Basically solid breakfast, but nothing else there is. Everything a bit chaotic, but still nice atmosphere. Unfortunately some negative aspects: After 20 minutes we were also allowed to order, because two families were preferred, who were there after us. The award of the breakfast menus left a lot to be desired - the large breakfast for 2, is not as expected, the large breakfast twice, but ... well, actually, definitely not for 2. On request, we were told that otherwise schonmal too much left over, if you should then write in the card ... But we got an extra croissant extra - how nice. Several times had to ask for certain things- honey, jam, Nutella, orange juice and after beaten 60 minutes we were finally allowed to have breakfast. When asked for the bill, the service was there immediately, € 25 for three people - priced perfectly fine. But then when 25 € were given smooth and on the tip, for the reasons mentioned was waived, we were really asked by the service for a tip. For the reasons I described, I denied that the embarrassing silence could be heard throughout Lübeck. Incomprehensible as you can then ask for a tip. All in all, unfortunately, a disappointing experience - but the Fremdschämmoment we will keep in mind.

Super comfortable and very friendly waitresses. Ideal for celebrations of all kinds.

Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to get to know this café from the inside it looks nice from the outside. Slowly very annoying, only open Fridays and Saturdays ..... And when it is finally open, then the closed society is there. A little disappointing.

Super cute cafe in a small, nondescript area. The staff is really nice and the cakes are freshly baked every day. It is also very clean here. This café is definitely worth a visit. A little insider tip in Lübeck, where you should definitely have been!
